Zac Quinn: I am a Young Outsider for my political ideology. I do not have many political influences. My parents never frequently discussed politics. I've voted in the 2016 primaries for Bernie Sanders. I also worked for a public advocacy group, Public Citizen, as a summer intern. I learned a lot about the Texas governmental environment. I am taking this class a degree requirement, but I'd also like to learn more about my government. I'd like to understand the entire primary and general election process better and how average citizens can have a bigger role in government. Civic Literacy: Tribune, 6/10 // Current Events: 9/12
